As we Specialise in Portable Appliance Testing and don't offer it as a secondary service you can take advantage of our experience at the fantastic rates listed below, We hope that you agree that these fees represent fantastic value for money and peace of mind to ensure you meet your Statatory Obligations and Insurers Requirements.

We are based in Market Harborough but currently only offer access to our Portable Appliance Testing via on-site testing at your premises - We do not offer a Workshop based service where you bring your items to us:

Please find below a guide to our testing prices - We usually charge on a per Item Basis and have a low *Minimum Order Value of £25.00 per site however It is always recommended that you contact us for a tailored quote as their may be special promotions or discounts available.

1-50 Items* = £2.25 Per Item (-20% £1.80 per item)
51-250 Items = £2.00 Per Item (-20% £1.60 per item)

501-750 Items = £1.50 Per Item (-20% £1.20 per item)
751-1000 Items = £1.25 Per Item (-20% £1.00 per item)
1000+ Items = Please Call or E-mail Us for a tailored quote.

There is NO VAT to add to these prices or any hidden charges!

We fully believe that our fees are fantastic value for money for the the high level of service we offer but as you found us online I'm sure you will get quotes ranging from 50p-£5.00 per item but PLEASE read what level of testing is being offered, the cheaper quotes seldom include actual physical testing or written reports with individual test results which are requirements of the legislation.

Included in our per item fee is:
* A Thorough Formal Visual Inspection
* All applicable physical tests.
* Pass and Fail labels with date of testing/Renewal Dates.
* Fully Itemised Passed Appliance Register including test result values presented in either a PDF    attached to an email within 24 hours of testing or a printed Hard Copy sent in the post
   within 3 working days of Testing.
* A Certificate of Testing for quick Reference/Display purposes
* Fully Itemised Failed Item and Repair Register complete with detailed reports and advice.
* Fuse replacement to BS 1362 (as required) with free retest.

  FACT: The Electricity at Work Regulations* place a legal responsibility on all employers and self-employed persons to comply with the provisions of the regulations and take reasonably practicable steps to ensure that no danger results from the use of any electrical equipment in their care. This in effect requires the implementation of a systematic and regular program of maintenance, inspection and testing. The Health & Safety at Work Act (1974) places such an obligation in the following circumstances:  
 
 
  1. Where appliances are used by employees  
 
  2. Where the public may use appliances in establishments such as hospitals, schools, hotels, shops etc
3. Where appliances are supplied or hired
4. Where appliances are repaired or serviced.
